Dear Hermes' mum,
We are sorry to inform you that your son has passed away. The prognosis at this stage seems to be a total cessation of brain activity, likely related to the endless, monotonous and tedious tasks he was forced to perform by his employer. We will conduct a full autopsy in due course, and will provide a copy of the subsequent report for...

Hmm that was strange. I went into to Capital Radio tonight to pick up my free tickets and found that someone I used to work with was behind the front desk. He's a nice enough lad, and apparently is looking into moving into music programming there. So I guess once any SG types get a compilation/demo CD together I could go and leave a copy...

Mmmmm bacon and mushroom tagliatelli. Oh, and Angel on TV in a minute too!
Uploaded a couple of boring pics. Will get 'round to doing some more when I can be bothered to a) get near a scanner, and/or b) turn my other PC on.

Yeah, i guess the LP album will grow on me too, i very rarely dislike any CD that much! I think they will rule live *fingers crossed!*
Jarcrew are really cool - hard to describe, quite unlike anyone around right now. I'm gonna seek out their website, well i did promise them i'd link um!

Well I got the new Incubus and Lostprophets albums this morning. I'm quite relieved to find that they're not s***, but I'm also a bit disappointed, as they're not as exciting or as cutting-edge as they could have been. I remember when I heard both bands they really were fresh and different and raw and heavy, but now they seem to have lost all that...

No, not at all! I don't think you realise how much I appreciate what is commonly known as 'geek-talk'. I honestly get a little glint in my eyes and start to become abnormally excited
And procrastination from work is probably what I do best anyway hehe.

We're encouraged to write in every genre (a finger in every pie kind of thing) but I find I'm only passable at contemporary fiction, and I like writing anti-heroes as the main protagonists because self-deprication and ranting is always fun. Hehe I just re-read that and it sounds as though I have my head firmly inserted up my own arse.
What about you? What's your poison?

Yeah, it's such a laff to see our advanced society in it's typical state of post-snow panic.
Yay: I get to get covered in fake blood and gore tonight
Is that a usual Thursday thing, or is this a special occasion?

Hey I just finished the Gehenna clan novel. I thought it was just ok. The page breaks were way too often. It kind of went back and forth a little to frequently between the various stories. I assumed something was up with Kapaneus just because the story never addressed his clan the whole time. The Samuel/Okulos thing was cool.....I was trying to figure out who Samuel was the whole time. It didn't have the finality that I thought it would though. I would have liked to see basically them end it all right in the novel. Unless they left it open like that for a reason.......
Ugh. Last night was great fun and I'm glad I managed to make it all the way through without getting too wobbly or doing my usual party trick of just falling asleep. Great to meet a whole bunch of people - time to do some friends requests I guess - I'm so terrible with names and faces though so it's gonna be tricky. Things got...

Well hurrah for Fridays. Looking forward especially to the big SGUK meet tomorrow. Hopefully it will be cool, and I won't be ill or otherwise make a tit of myself.
Otherwise things are particularly dull, with work the same and not much luck on the job hunting front. A bit of mid-week TV and a lot of web surfing has kept me busy, but it's...

Well the new Angel was cool. About time there was some decent TV again. Don't want to spoil it for everyone, but the premise of the show has changed quite a lot, and there are some surprise old faces. That's my Tuesday nights sorted for the forseeable future.
And for those few of you that might be interested, I also picked up Gehenna yesterday, which...

i have a friend minding my snake for me as it doesn't require much looking after, but the cat needs to stay with me - which is why finding somewhere to stay for a few days is awkward as not everyone i know is ok with the cat too.

SkyOne, wow I have not thought of that since my days in Heidelberg Germany! Grew up there as an Army Brat!
Question on the metaphysical thing, re We are from the stars. You say that Metaphysical means that I acknowledge that there is a guiding intellegence on the stellar level and that our advanced state is inherent in the formation of the elements. Couldn't there be a inherent life in the basic fabric of the universe, even including what we now consider to e the supernatural, without a overarching intellegence? Must the system have a sentient being to be metaphysical, or can there exist a set of "supernatural" laws without sentience?
I hear you on the smell thing with ladies! I know they say our pheremone receptors are dead now, but I swear mine are still working! I honestly cannot say whether I like the smell of the ladies I like, or whether I like the ladies whose smells I like! lol

Tsk here I am back at work after a pretty good couple of weeks of dossing about. Unfortunately the monotonous trivial hell of this place has already sucked away much of my holiday cheer...
NY was ace, although the music at the MH was slightly more cheesy that I had anticipated. Made it home ok but ended staying up to drink more and watch crap...
