Well I suppose it's about time I updated. France was ok, great weather, great food, lots of booze. The only downside was having to interact with my estranged dad and his wife. Well that's probably a bit harsh, but after a day or so me and my dad have very little to say to each other. And his wife renewed my low opinion of her by getting mashed and laying into my brother and making snide remarks about my mum. And I managed to come home with a cold, tsk.

I did manage to remember to make some use of my camera, although mostly on random local wildlife (actually more interesting than my family). The macro function is just superb, as long as you've got the patience...
