And so another weekend looms. Thank christ it's Friday. Should be a fairly low-key weekend what with me being so skint and occupied with DIY activities. whatever

Plus writing up what I have planned for my trip away next weekend. 20 guys and gals, lots and games, and lots of booze. Should be a great laugh as always, and just what I need to reinvigorate myself a bit. Unfortunately I again volunteered for the Sat night LRP spectacular, which will this time be cowboys (last time it was pirates) using Deadwood as my main inspiration. As long as everyone says cocksucker a lot and it ends with a gunfight or a brawl I'll be happy... biggrin

Will keep my head down on Monday as best I can. I know it's a load of commercial bulls*** really, but even so it's impossible not to be reminded about the shortcomings of my own personal life. Not that being single is that bad really, it's just it's been a while now and I know what I'm (potentially) missing. At least I have the gorgeous Ms Lewis et al at the Astoria to cheer me up! *sigh*

Being single is really not that bad.

If I wasn't with my gf I would be very cautious about getting involved with anyone. In fact I was, as Mr T would put it, 'hella cautious' about becoming involved with her.

Having affection on tap is nice but having the freedom of a single dude is, at least in my book, slightly nicer.

I don't think it was theme or composition, or the set would have been rejected earlier in the process than it was. I made it down to the last step, which means that it had to have been a problem they couldn't correct in Photoshop, but believed they might have been able to at the outset of the process. That leads me to believe the culprit was probably shoddy image quality.

I could be wrong, and I did email Missy in hopes of finding out for sure, but that's my guess.
