Well thank Crunchie it's Friday. Only ~6 hours and counting before the weekend officially begins... *sigh*

Met up with The Ex properly on Wed for the first time in ages. Nice to catch up etc. but a little strange, especially noticing old habits kicking in without even realising. Even more strange to think she's 'getting serious' with some other guy who she insists I would get on with really well. Yeah right, whatever. TBH I'm pretty indifferent about it, it's all water on the bridge, good luck to her - I'm just puzzled as to why she'd even think I'd *want* to get to know him. Of course I'd feel sorry for her if he turned out to be an asshole, but TBH she's more likely to use and abuse him than the other way around...

And I've now got the lurgy. Fingers xssed it's nothing too serious but I have a habit of getting tonsilitus around about this time of year, every year. That would certainly screw up my plans for the next few weeks. And man, I really *hate* being ill. On the necessary routine of drugs, liquids and vitamin C, and hopefully things won't get worse so I can still go to Sanctum tonight and possibly a swift one or two tomorrow with the rest of you...
