Breed77 kicked ass last night. Glad to see their live sound just keep getting better. Real shame to see them booted offstage though by the management after 6 songs due to the tight schedule. They deserve to do well. I hope they play again soon.

The first band Violent Delight were absolute toilet. Why anyone would give these talentless waster monkeys the time of day is entirely beyond me. Makes me laugh as the sister of a friend is the godmother of one of them. Or something.

Ill Nino were better by comparison, but although they had the moves and the most fans, their sound was nowhere near as good as Breed's - all top and bottom with no middle - and it's really hard to hear the latino percussion when they're cranking their only-slightly-above-average nu-metal riffage. Their drummer's a right fat bastard as well, and has about as much finesse as a rabid bull charging through the proverbial china shop.

In other news I'm still hanging my head in shame for my antics at the weekend, although I've yet to be contacted by those concerned to find out the severity of the fallout. Otherwise I'm still slaving over my board game and giving moral support to several friends who are either out of work, or are about to be fired. Plus I'm still daydreaming endlessly, and I'm still getting far too little sleep tsk...
