This week has been mostly spent fantasising about the other ways in which I could be spending my daylight hours.

Approximately 33% of the time the daydreaming revolves around winning large sums of money and then spending it on travelling, presents for friends and family, setting up businesses and sponsoring animal sanctuaries.

Another 33% or so involves me imagining that my favourite bands evar are desperately of a drummer to fill in as theirs have gone sick (a la Metallica at Download recently) and me then demonstrating how tub-thumpingly god-smackingly brilliant I am.

The remainder involves me abandoning society and it's material trappings to become a prophet of some kind, writing down my thoughts into a manefesto that would become the creed of a new era of mankind, fostering a revolution of the masses against this c***ing soulless vampiric irresponsible lot that we call 'progress'.

Goddamn I need to get out more... wink

You're far from London? I don't remember...

I've been having this persistent thought of starting a band again... maybe we should talk about that sometime.

And the prophet thing is an interesting concept indeed.

I know those daydreams... When I'm in a good mood they tend to be a lot like you describe. When I'm in a bad mood, however, I dream about my secret volcanic island and private army. biggrin
