Well I signed up almost a week ago, and I guess it's about time I shared some of my thoughts. In short, the gorgeous girls get a big thumbs up, but TBH the rest of the community (so far) is a bit of a let-down. Posting on the boards seems to be a bit slow, with most people just ignoring each other rather than paying much attention to each other. Movement on the groups seems a little sluggish too. Having said that, I'm not really surprised, as I'm guessing membership must be up over a thousand or more, and on that scale, who can be arsed to keep track of and be nice to that many people? I'm also probably too demanding and too impatient for my own good too - I'm sure in time I'll make some better contact with some people. I guess I could spill my guts into this journal to give me something to do in the mean time, but then who the hell is going to read it anyway...

As an aside, not sure what to make of the whole SGUK clique thing that got raised recently. Looks like half a dozen cute girls rule the local roost, and that's fine by me as long as they're not that dismissive of newcomers. I guess I'll have to wait and see whether anyone touches base, or whether it might be worth setting up another group instead. Whatever happens, I'd be glad to meet some people to do some clubs/gigs & stuff. Most of my mates are now either too dull, too married, or too busy procreating for that shit any more. Poor old lonesome me, anyone know how to play the violin...?
