Love having my all my kids at the house. Oldest is home on leave and as usual, I don't realize how much I miss him till he comes home. It's great now that he's older, I can be more of a friend and not so much the disciplinarian. He's a grown ass man.

I had a good weekend. Lazy Saturday that ended with watching a pre-screen of Blended. It was a good flick. Kind of predictable but a few lines that made me choke on my popcorn. Still waiting to here back about a couple jobs. All in all a pretty boring but relaxing weekend

Scored some tickets to see a pre-release of Godzilla tomorrow night. I grew up watching the old 50's-60's movies on Saturday mornings. It should be interesting to see it with new graphics but I kind of hope they keep it a little "cheesy" and don't go overboard with CGI.

I went to 29 Palms over the weekend and in the span of 12 hours saw a downpour, dust storm and snow in the mountains while it was ~80 degrees. Pretty cool when you think about. In a strange sick way I miss the desert.

Got my tickets to KISS and Def Leppard. Haven't seen them in a long time. Kiss was first concert WAY back in the day. Dad took me and got a contact buzz. It was funny as hell. He was a straight laced old school southern man in 7-11 getting a slurpee and HoHo's LOL.
