So.........yea......Afghanistan......not a very good place to visit. I find myself currently living here since around December 3rd of 2008. I cant say I'm a big fan. I've been to several dif places here. Kabul, Kandahar, BAF, Herat, and all the little towns, villages, and shit holes around Herat, cant say I'm very pleased at where I've ended up. Yea great job sending an INFANTRY platoon to ARSIC-WEST and not letting us do our fucking jobs. Thanks Uncle Sugar!!!! Oh and we still are not getting paid right. hmmmmmm weird. When i went into S1 (finance) and told them my pay was all fucked up, they told me, "That's just the way it is." So I'm supposed to just not get the money I deserve???? Wrong fucking answer. Yea I can't wait to get the fuck out of the army. This deployment has shown me how fucked the higher leadership really is. I honestly thought I'd find out exactly why we are here. I couldn't give you the slightest clue. Except I know why I'm here. My friends, my family thats here right beside me. That's why I'm here. Fuck this war. Fuck the part of the army that I'm seeing here. If it wasn't for the guys here next to me and the college money.......I'd probably have gone AWOL along time ago. LOL.
