Yea! I just woke up and one of my bestest friends back home just kind of popped up in my journal. It's always fun have a friends request, it's kind of exciting clicking on that button (even though I'm sure it get's old for the cute girls, but for us funky dudes, they are few and farbetween). Anyway it was double exciting seeing a face I knew, and that I care about, and miss smiling back at me.
My day just totally lightened up!!!!

In other news I know I've been a grouchy motherfucker lately. With my friend passing, and all the lonelieness stuff, and so on. I'm gonna try after this post not to be grouchy, but i have to vent one more time...
....i got called in the middle of a critque yesterday so that my parents could ask if there was anything I needed from their house. They got a mandatory evacuation order for Huricane Rita. Those of you that know me know my parents live outside of Houston. What most people don't know is that their house is about 200 yards from the Gulf of Mexico, and only 7 feet aboze see level. My mom basically said flat out that if this huricane hits, their house will be finito.
But they are safe! YEA! To me that's all that matters. But hearing mom cry always sucks you know???

Glad to hear the peeps are safe. Also glad there is a fellow pro-active politcal arbiter amongst us. Did you know I was arrested at the RNC protest? There were 600 people that charged the building during Bushes acceptance speech and 36 people got inside. It was the largest violent protest since the 60's and no one even knows about it. Only NPR reported it and 4 of my friends overseas saw me on BBC and later asked if I was okay. Our media is dead. Thanks for your comments.
