Violence!

Does it increase, has it increased as a result of our current state of war?

Do people accept the futility of a life more willingingly? Are we more capable of dishing out, and resorting to violence once we see that it has been sanctioned and paid for by the state?

The italian futurists were the trumpet men for Fascismo! Crying that nationalist war is the only thing in modern existance that can truly prove one's "manhood". Have we really learned anything???

Every day I wake up it's like I have to walk through, and drive past a horde of these patriotic war criminals. Death's little cheerleaders with their fucking magnetic ribbons, their perfect hair, new SUVS, and arrogant attitudes.

I think I might start throwing stuff....... If I get caught, I will claim that Bush was my role model, and that I was participating in a pre-emptive strike against American Fascism (yes, yes I know it would be more like a defensive strike against dumb bullies who think might is right, but I don't think the judge would go for that........ )

So I just read Neuromancer. Good book! A little hard to read cause I think the author was on speed. But if you don't know he is the author that kind of started the cyberspace/hacker sci fi. Basically (for the nerds like me) like Tolkein inspired D & D, Neuromancer is the complete inspiration behind Shadowrun. Good book if your bored I suggest it!

Now off to find my power animal and ignore the candy land of nationalism that I spend ten hours a day in.
