So it's been a while.

Good news is I'm headed abroad for the triennial I'm show at in a couple of weeks. My work is going strong, but I need some money to help actually make it... Student loans got all fucked up this year.

On another note. It's about time the media paid attention to Blackwater and the issues this world currently faces with the mercenary forces being deployed both abroad and at home. It is scary if you read about the contacts Blackwater has with our Republican government. In theory this force is strong enough and equiped well enough to act as an independant Republican military.

A recent Wall Street Journal article talks about how the operating model of such companies means that the U.N., or NATO could essentially buy Blackwater, DynCorp, or Tripple Cannopy to go into Darfur and overthrow the government with no oversite.

Now I know your saying "Heresy quite being niave the entire western world was built by mercenaries". Or: "we've all known this was going on for a long time". I agree both statements are true, however until the last year or so none of us really had a grasp on the scale of this issue.

The Journal article then hints that Bill Gates, or Soros could hire Blackwater to go into Darfur and end the genocide. The implications of this statement are amazing!!!!!!!

Does this mean George Soros could essentially hire Blackwater to overthrow the current U.S. presidency? I mean if he paid enough given the implied business model stated in the Journal article? What about Donald Trump when he decides he doesn't like that Hillary Clinton was elected over Romney or Guilliani?

Does this mean my school mates and I can save up enough money to hire one former Navy Seal to come in and wipe out the paramilitary police force that has a strangle hold on the Town of New Paltz? I wonder how much that would cost...

Anyway check out this shirt I found on thier site if you want to see the true attitude of these "supporters of peace, justice, freedom, and democracy:"

Read it a couple of times if you have to, it's a poor design (thier soldiers not graphic designers, but the meaning is apparent).

No, because you essentially have oversight, in the form of an organized county, state, and federal police forces who are the enforcement arm of the legislative, executive and judicial branch of governments who oversee the locals. So, you'd be arrested and judged by a power higher than the one you chose to eliminate. Very much unlike Blackwater. No oversight at all. Noone to keep them in check.
