Owww! I've been dealing with some real nasty kidney stones for the last week. Its really put me off course in my training for the 1/2 marathon but hell or high water (or knife like stabbing pain in my right side) I am moving up to 7.5 miles tomorrow. At the 5 mile mark I was able to come in at 59:30 so I'm coming along well but the stones are really making life hell. Whats slightly worse is that this pain and some side effects from the vicodin I was given has aggrivated my insomnia and the total effect has pushed me into a depressed and lonely state.

I haven't been in a relationship in about 2 years now and I really miss having actual companionship. There is something immesurably wonderful about having someone in your arms while you sleep. Having someone to go places with or to just talk to. I don't know how I let myself get so isolated but I've pretty well managed to cut myself off from the world around me. I need to break out of this but I'm at a loss as to how. If anyone here knows a nice girl in my neck of the world I am open to blind dates I sure could use the help.
