Im learning to beat my heart into submission because right now being around you, and being around you and him, is so hard for me to do.

So, I will just be your friend again, and try to push those feelings down and away, so I can just be happy around you, and make you happy, and not make you worry about me because I am so dispondant.

I do this because I love you, and you can't give that back to me, at least not right now.

What does the future hold? Who knows for sure? But the present is just being unfair right now, and so it must change, though you might not even notice, because I will be the same devoted and loving friend I ever was, but I might be happier.
