Ahh, I have great luck when it comes to electronics at Future Shop. I snagged an old, no longer used floor model 40 gig iPod for $450. Seriously. Retareded. Normally $529.

It was pretty brilliant. I'm just browsing at the hard drive music portables, asking questions about the MPIO's and the prices of iPods, etc., when the guy was like "well, we have an open-box 40 gig, and maybe I can get you a deal on it, lemme check with my manager."

So I think to myself "Most I will pay is $450. If he comes back with $450 i'm sold."

He comes back with the manager. "You can get it for $450."

"I'll take it!"

The only thing it didnt come with is the heaphones, so I got a free pair of the MPIO headphones, which were not so good and too short, but thats ok, because I have my good Sony V-500's at home.

So I take my new shiney toy to Amber's place, and drop her entire music drive only my machine. That's like 34 gigs of Hardcore/HHC/Goa/Psytrance/Techno/etc.

I managed to, with only a minimal ammount of "trimming" (sooo much effort) put MY entire music drive on as well, which is only 5 gigs or so, and about 4 more free gigs of spece...

This thing is retardedly awesome. This much portable music makes me giddy.
