I'm getting tired of getting into situations that suck, yet are no-ones fault, thus I cant blame anyone.
I didn't end up getting my tattoo today. Here is the setup to the story. The plan was to get a tattoo for Amber for a birthday/christmas/yule/"you are an amazing friend" gift, and then one for myself. I was pretty freaking excited for the both of us. Thus, I get off of work and head to the shop today.
After Art (my tattoo artist) was unfortunatly an hour late for the session, there was an hour long planning session with Amber, designing her piece, and then 3.5 hours of tattooing. When all said and done, it was 6:30 or so. Not enough time for me to get any work done.
Needless to say, this put me in a very sullen and disapointed mood. I'm starting to feel better now, and as the dragon said as we left the shop, it's not the end of the world. It does however, really really suck. Especially that he has no other free appointments till late January. I'm thinking of a marathon session of tattooing. 6 or so hours straight. Yeah.
Anywho, Ambers new tattoo is fucking beautiful. All tribal and colourful and awesome. Worth the $250 it cost me (It would have cost anyone else way way more. I love having a family tattoo artist.), so I threw Art a $50 tip, 'cause he is so worth it.
just so you all know, Amber isnt part of this site, though she does plan on putting sets up. She just wants to finish her big tattoo work first. ^_^

To me, that'd be more the disappointment than simply not getting your tattoo yet.
