If you like that, you should come to London and visit some of the Victorian cemeteries, like Kensal Rise, Abney Park, and of course, the don, Highgate. Unfortunately, you have to go with a guide to the old (best) part, due to long-term interference with the tombs, stemming from the 1972 'Vampire Panic'. The newer part of the cemetery is good, but not as atmospheric as the old part. However, Karl Marx and the late, great Douglas Adams (Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy author), are buried there, so it's worth visiting. If you go to Scotland, try to visit Inverness: the cemetery there is built on, and into, a sinister hill, indeed, a fairy hill called Tomnahurich. It is quite literally awesome. Some people find it's atmosphere unbearable. I went there in 1991, and the feeling was that unseen eyes were sizing you up, seeing if you were a threat. I had intended to have some fun with my then girlfriend, Lucy, on the top, but something deep in me told me that it was probably a very bad idea. Oddly, Lucy had almost the exact same feeling, as if the shades in the hill were saying: "You are not going to fuck on the top of the hill, now go away". If you are a cemetery fan, then I suggest you seek out a book entitled: 'Necropolis - London And It's Dead', by Catharine Arnold. It's a real eye opener, and a great read. Enjoy. 😘😘😘
