Marc is currently playing the Cure which is sending me into a nostalgic daze and making me all bouncy/melancholy which is a terribly strange combination. I am sitting at Rottenhaus attempting to get over being carsick and waiting for Brendan to show up so we can head north and figure out what to do with ourselves this evening as well as taking full advantage of their kickass t1 connection. So far the day has been spent cleaning my entire house by myself and my ever wonderful, amazing boyfriend (hooray!), and hanging out with Macki, Soylent and Numa for some DDR goodness. I haven't played in almost a year at this point and have lost whatever meager skill I might have once posessed, Marc who has played once kicked my ass so solidly that I am sure it will still be smarting around this time next year.

On the getting ready for Burningman front, I have indeed made some progress but not nearly as much as I would have hoped. I have the house clean, and have procured some of the nessessary equipment, but I still have to get an oil change, a tuneup. buy food, get tons of supplies, not to mention register Zoe for kindergarten, take the kids in for their checkups and get to the Dr myself. Ah well, I am sure everything will eventually fall into place. I am making detailed lists which is a step in the right direction while at the same time being a successful form of procrastination.

By the way, anyone have a spare burningman ticket they are wanting to get rid of? I am looking to pick one up, and would rather give money to a friend then someone I don't know.

Now off to try and stop the vomitus urge that has been close to overwhelming me all afternoon. Ugh!
