(Yesterday) Triathlon training: Day 1
Ran 1.5 miles, swam 1000 meters. Arms feel like they're going to drop out of their sockets. I stink like the Creature from the Chlorinated Lagoon. I hate my new swimsuit. 2 advil and a nap made me feel better. Jonathan came over for dinner. I made Indian food. We watched "Saved"...fucking hilarious movie.
(Today) Triathlon training: Day 2
Ran 1.7 miles, swam 1000 meters. My abs hurt, and again, my arms feel like they're going to drop out of their sockets. Ditto on the chlorine stink and the sucky new swimsuit. 3 advil, a nap, and some chicken wings from Papa Johns helped cure shoulder pains. Watched "Phantom of the Opera" and cried all through it cos it was so pretty. Also watched "Mean Girls"...did not cry, though I feel like it cos it brought back memories of all the shit I put up with in school.
