Dudes, I have been in school for too long. BA, MA, and now about to finish my JD. At one point I was considering doing a PhD as well, but reality set in a little bit about 2 years ago and I put that to rest for now. (PhD would have been middle eastern history, same as my BA & MA - was deferring a fully funded program for the first year of law school... )
School, school, school. I've had some semi-breaks from school for jobs and life, but for the most part, I have been in post high school education for more than a decade.
It's a tremendous luxury to be in school and I am grateful for the education that I've gotten. I really appreciate it. But I am also really ready for it to be finished for a while.
