An Extreme faery tale. Set at the end of the Spanish civil war. Ofelia and her mother move in with her new stepfather, The unscrupulous Captian Vidal. Ofelia discovers an ancient labyrinth, whose inhabitant, a faun, believe's her to be a descendant of the moon. With the aid of faery and magic she must complete three task before the full moon. A perfect blend of two parallel tales: Captian Vidal's ruthless quest to crush the local rebellion, despite his pregenant wife's bad health and treason in his house. And Ofelia's quest, which may require more than she is willing to sacrifice.
The only Oscar I trust is green and lives in a can....but believe the hype on this one.

Not sure, everyone injected something into their cheek and passed out after that. I did too, but was the only one to survive. I wonder what that means...
