The Descent 2005 The British Site
Sadly I saw the US unrated version...not sure of the differences. anyhow....
Six fetching British girlfriends set off to explore the underworld. And as always things don't go according to plan. They end up in the wrong cave with nowhere to go but down...and they're not alone. Hot girls, blood, caverns and monsters...what more could you want.
The setting is creepy, and the girls' perfomances heighten the experience.....but the creatures kinda flopped. They moved like guys in rubber suits and were rather low on the evolutionary rope. I'd expect cave dwellers to hear heartbeats and breathing, very good senses of smell, and tell on contact the difference between a live body and a rock.....these things just followed loud noise. I rate this film....needs giant spiders.
