Plots, deception and betrayal brews among the Imeperial family. The crown prince had an affair with the Empress (not his birth mother) and now has a thing for the daughter of the Court Doctor. Who is posioning the Empress, on the Emporer's orders. The middle son must choose between loyalty to his father or the Empress (his birth mother). And who knows what the youngest son is thinking. Film Making at it's best....a captivating plot, that's given time to flower (pun intended); commanding acting perfomances, Chow Yun-Fat exceeds; Amazing sets and costumes; and battle scenes that would make Peter Jackson blow his wad. Whatever you are doing, put it down and go see this film.

I was hoping this turned out to be good, I remember being pretty excited when I saw the trailer a few months back. It's playing at the Lagoon, right?

"The Court Doctor Who" - this is one incarnation of the Doctor I had never heard of!
