Tonight's show was awesome. I just saw one band, but they were fucking hilrious. The Frog Eyes are great. I can't believe how cool my job is. Ted Leo was awesome on Tuesday. Mclusky's show at the Crocodile was horrible. The crowd sucked, the frontmen seemed to have a grudge for the drummer. He also had it out for his guitar tech. They played something like 26 shows in 25 days, so it was understanable how they would get burned out. The last words the lead singer said when he was walking off the stage were, "You Fucking Fools". I don't think I need to say that there was no encore. I can't wait for Guided by Voices. Neko Case is going to be another good one, not to mention the Posies who are playing soon. A lot of people have been handing me their band promo Cds since I've been going to shows. They like the mixed stuff that I bring to work. I'm now working on a mixed Cd with all of their stuff to play during my shift. Everything I got is really fricken good. I especially like this one band called Femur, who up until this morning I have never heard of. They are fucking great. You'll love them if you like The Ramones, and Kind of Like Spitting, and The Dear John Letters. It was really surprising wake up so early, and really like what I was hearing. Well thats it for me night all.
