On the weekend I travelled to the far north of Wales to the island of Anglesey.
We spent Friday testing and refining bike setup and in the evening mad a few big suspension changes.
Saturday morning rolled around and with fresh tyres we went into morning warmup and the Qualifying. After a few good laps the session was stopped with a red flag die to an accident. Despite sitting out the restarted session we managed to get a time worthy of 8th place overall and second in class.
Going into the first of three races, we got a good start and were making up ground on the bikes in front and sticking a few good overtakes. Unfortunately coming onto the final section of the circuit a rider crashed very close in front. Managed to miss the human, but hit his bike and crashed too.
The guy's and girls in the team put in a great effort to fix the bike ready for the next race, but with an electrical fault caused by the crash which we couldn't solve at the tract.
Our weekend was over.
It's now back to base in Swansea and time to find out what the issue is.
