Sinead O'Connor sings the 1975 "Streets of London" song by Ralph McTell.

Have you seen the old man
In the closed-down market
Kicking up the paper,
with his worn out shoes?
In his eyes you'll see no pride
And held loosely at his side
Yesterday's paper telling yesterday's news

So how can you tell me you're lonely,
And say for you the sun won't shine?...

My mother is much better now.
She is now in her second day in the hospital
where they are running some more tests, just for safety.
Her values went back to normal,
thanks to the pills she is taking now.
All seems a little more normal now, thank god,
even though she is of course still a little weak.
I am waiting to hear the...

Happy to hear that the sky is clearing up. Hope the weather forecast continues to improve.

Interesting input, my friend. You are very right in stating that we are all spoiled. That, too, was part of the awareness I was referring to. However, I also do believe that not everyone who is aware is also aware of being spoiled.

My mother suffered a minor stroke yesterday.

She is 65 years old.
My sister called me today and told me.
They have spent almost the entire night in the hospital.
My mother is like me, so, by the time she was herself again,
she asked and signed the papers to leave the hospital.

I talked to her today
and on request of my sister,
I...

Remember to laugh as often as you can,
you can't do anything to yourself better than this.

Remember to think about what your place in the universe is,
guess what, it ain't the center.

Remember that if you love yourself, you don't need anything or anyone,
they will all need you instead.

Remember that time is not infinite
but remember also that rushing won't get...

Do they have a knack for projecting on walls in Cartoons, too?

This is "Margherita", a song by Riccardo Cocciante (1976),
probably one of the most beautiful italian songs ever written.
I don't want to add too many of my words to it,
here is the text with english translation.
After reading it,
enjoy the YouTube audio.

Be loving and always in love, somehow.
Don't become cold.
That's the end of everything human in you.

It's a little known fact, but we have them on everyone. Some people just feel it more than others.

Very man in the mirror.
When an artist speaks the personal and touches upon the universal in doing so, he's doing it right.

Aw. Get lost, everyone.
Until you are able to show me something more
than the average "I'll lick your ass" or
the even more depressing
"I'll fight you even though I don't even begin to understand you" attitude,
just get lost.

I mean it, guys.

We're trying to make mankind progress here,
so just do us all a favor and remove yourself from the gene...

This is an experiment. A photoblog, with basically no comment,
a Magical Mystery Tour among the images resting in my hard drives
but more realistically, about me, the things I like, the things that make me stop and look,
the things that make me think or just smile and love life again,
the things that haunted my thoughts yesterday, today and tomorrow,
for the good...

More words.
Against my resolution to do more and talk less.
Yet, no drawings, just more words.

I have spent all my life, now I realize,
like many artists, trying to remove from the eye of my mind
all that was unnecessary, in the wishful attempt to find
what is really necessary, by the shortcut of an easier way.
Remove, necessary action anyway...
It did...

huck:
thanks dude! that so many parties poem was from the heart, for sure.

this piece you've posted here reminds of Rilke, not necessarily in diction but in shape and structure; it is quite totemic.

ca va?

Shit! I should've asked him if he was holding.
Then again, I am not so sure if I'd take weed from a bum.
Who knows what's in it.
Although, I may have liked it either way.

She orbits in simple curves,
large paths on the ecliptic of her heart,
when she approaches her equinox,
I can almost touch her
and then she's gone again.

In this region of the universe
I was put to cross her path,
and she leaves just to return.
What if our hands would lock
and break this perpetual sidereal clockwork...

I feel that there's a crowd...
