OK, so I just spent the last 2 months playing the ultimate prank on my roomate. He bought a VW jetta diesel just after Christmas, he has been giving me a hard time about what great mileage it gets and blah blah blah. To the point that he was telling people at bars and anyone who would listen what a great car it was and he never has to fill it up. Well, stopped one night on my way home and filled up a gas can with diesel and filled up his car when I got home, kept doing this every night for a month. It got a little annoying listening to him about how he has not had to fuel in it for 2 weeks, what a great car, everyone should get one, he even calle dthe dealer and told them. Stupid twit, I figured he would clue in when he had nearly 3000km on it and hadn't put any fuel in it.
Well then I decided that was enough of that and started taking fuel out of it every night, got to the point that he was filling it up every day, ran out 3 times as well. He had in the dealer to have it checked and they couldn't find anything wrong ('cause there wasn't) Now this was funny, going from what a great car to what a piece of crap and VW should take it back.
Saturday I finally told him, man was he pissed until he thought about the whole thing and he found it pretty freakin' funny! And the bonus is that there is a month's worth of diesel in the garage. I kill me.
