Well, tomorrow is judgement day for my car. After working a 7 day work week so I could have Wednesday off to work on it, we got the timing belt on...and checked it by turning the main...thing...and the timing slipped again.
Turns out there was a fucked up tooth on the exhaust sprocket...thing.
So of course that was a part that had to be ordered...$120 later and we will be changing it, putting the timing belt on and putting everything back in...
If the car doesn't run after that...I am lighting it on fire. Haha.
Seriously though, I am pretty lucky the timing slipped and didn't actually bend any valves.
