So I am a dumb ass...
I constantly get Christine's engine and my engine mixed up. SHE has a 2.5L...mine is 2.2L.
Mine is NOT interference, and therefore if it is the timing belt, my car is still salvageable.
My step dad is coming to look at it Friday. If we can get it fixed, I plan on fixing up all the mechanical issues it has, then working on the aesthetics. I want it to look nice again...and this time I am going to treat it like a car and not a truck.
Apparently the 2.2L Subaru engines can last forever if taken care of correctly.
