My new snakes will be here today.
I'm excited. I have been researching the "big gene" and found a lot of info.

The "big gene" isn't really a gene so to speak. It's that these "huge" ball pythons are from a different locality then the average ball python, and in said locality they grow larger and lay more eggs.
They are VERY hard to get since one female can easily lay as many eggs as 3 average female ball pythons. There are rumors that Ian G. from Outback Reptiles imported a 6000 gram female.

The dude I bought from got a baby from that female...
she is now 4200 grams.

The two I am getting today are her offspring.

I am going to feed the ever loving shit out of them until they are HUGE...and then breed them into different morphs.
Example: A regular sized female Cinnamon at 1900 grams (like the one I have) can usually lay 5-10 eggs...and is worth about $1000.
Imagine a 4000 gram female that can lay 15-20 eggs.
I'd say she would be worth 2 regular cinnamons any day.

And that is what I intend to do.
