Ugh...
Been kinda stressed lately.
Semester is almost over, and I just want it to end. I need a month off.
I made the mistake of starting up my WoW account again, and after 4 months off...I came back to find out that all my hard work was for NOTHING. My gear is considered shit now...and it pisses me off.
Christine has been all kinds of apathetic to everything lately because of all the shit going down with Susan (her maternal DNA donor)...and won't talk to me about anything. Her response to everything is "mreh" or "meh" and it's starting to piss me off too.
We went to Petco the other day and she saw cats for adoption. I mentioned I wouldn't be opposed to another cat...but for some reason to her that meant TWO cats. She has this fucking obsession with siblings...so now she is trying to hunt down sibling cats.
So I find this cat in Manchester. The dude is going through a divorce and can't keep the cat.
It's a cool looking cat too, so I link it to Christine, tell her the story of the cat...how the guy can't keep it, it's two years old, up to date on shots and fixed, and how it had a friend but the dude's ex kept the other cat, so it's lonely....
and she gets all pissed off and snaps at me for "pushing the cat I want on her."
Well fucking excuse me...I found a cat I thought she'd like and suggested it. Jesus...
Plus, I don't want FOUR cats. I've told her this...but she has this obsession like I said...and I don't want to be the asshole and just say fuck it and say I don't want any more cats at all.
But instead of pushing the issue, I just apologized and avoided an argument. I understand the Susan issue is really taking a toll on her, but out of everyone she knows I've been the most supportive and the one who is always here and she seems to be aiming all the pissy at me.
I don't do well with that.
I know it will pass...but with all the other shit going on, it's just one more thing pissing me off.

In two hours I get to drive in the snow for the first time. It's snowing at the moment. 2-4 inches, then it's supposed to rain all day. Fucking yay.
As long as class is delayed or canceled, I'll be happy. That would mean I get to sleep a little before class. I have a presentation today that I look forward to because it's on Coyote/wolf hybrids and I like the topic, but sleep is good too. In fact, I think sleeping is one of my favorite things.

We have about 4 inches of snow, morning class was canceled, and apparently everyone is acting like they've never seen snow before. It's New England people. 4 inches is a dusting. Down south it would be a blizzard, but to us it's not even accumulation.
Bust out the scraper and get over it.
