I've had over a week's worth of DIY. My bedroom floor was falling apart. Literally, I've had holes in my floor for about a year now. Ikaruga can attest to this. So me and my future bro in law ripped up the old shitty floor and put down an awesome mega floor. Made of mega-wood! Regard!
Then a week of painting walls and building Ikea bookcases. Didn't get any drawing done!
Got offered a job. My local landlord said he thought I'd make a good head barman for his pub/restaurant. He's a very determined and driven guy and he's going for a Michelin star. Was nice to actually have someone see something in me. I'm gonna start off with a couple of trial shifts and take it from there. I think it would be a nice place to work. Better than where I am now for sure. Nervous though.
Went to Southampton Uni this weekend for my mates Birthday. Was very strange. Fun though. Uni is a strange place. Parts of it I like. Like all the cute girls strolling around. A lot of it just isn't for me. Full of assholes that don't give a shit about anything other than themselves and getting as drunk as possible. But I guess I was there with first years so I expect it gets better in year two. Didn't pull though. Probably should of. There was a really cute girl in our group and she kept stroking my beard. We flirted quite a bit but I didn't take it any further when I probably could of. Don't know why I didn't do that. Nevermind.
Watched Roadhouse at the weekend too. Havn't seen it in ages. Such a good film. Patrick Swayze AND Sam Elliot in one film? Amaze!
