Good weekend was had.

Went to a flat warming. Got drunk.
Had a bit of a family day on Sunday which was really nice. All the blokes (including me) went to the pub. Got drunk then ate food. Was nice seeing my sister's again. Felt like it's been ages.

Also me and my Dad seem to be getting on a bit better lately. Not that we've not got on in the past, but we just don't really know how to communicate to each other. We're both very different people. We're very much from different times. Plus I think when I had my (kinda) nervous breakdown in my early twenties I think it kind of alienated my folks a bit. They just didn't know how to react to what I was going through. Which is understandable cos I myself didn't really know. So, yeah it's nice that things are a bit less awkward now.
