Happy Valentine's day then. Hope you've all had a good one. I've been ill the last few days so I'll be in bed early again. Not that I had any plans anyway. I'm not too bothered about Valentine's day though. I've only ever had one year where I've been with someone. At 27 that could be kinda depressing if I thought about it. Which is why I don't. My time will come. Well, I hope so anyway.
I've been kinda lazy lately in keeping positive. I've had to realise I'm not in a good place right now and I need to work on things. I'm not sleeping well, I have no motivation which is really frustrating when it comes to my drawing as I've always been pretty prolific. I'm also really sensitive to stupid lil things. I'm trying to get through it on my own. I don't wanna go to the doctors (not just yet anyway). I seem to be going back for medication and counseling ever couple of years. There must be something I'm missing. I just wanna see if I can get through this myself.
My plan?
-Exercise. I gotta get into a routine and try to keep up with it.
-Not beating myself up about everything. I'm a pretty thoughtful guy and would do anything for anyone, but when it comes to myself I'm pretty harsh. If I don't draw one day I'll really beat myself up about it. Gotta try and stop that.
-Hanging out with my chums more. Lately I've felt like I don't really have many friends. But actually I have. I have awesome friends. I just need to get in touch with them more and hang out. Drinking isn't as much fun on your own.
-Stop worrying about job hunting. This is probably the main thing that has been getting to me. I'm terrible at job hunting. I don't really seem to be getting anywhere but times are tough for everyone. Something will come along as long as I keep trying. Gotta be patient.

Did a bit of retail therapy this week. Picked up Left 4 dead 2. Awesome game! I frikking love it. It's much tougher than the first one. It's so intense and fun. Also, finally picked up season 2 of Flight of the Conchords. I'm only half way through but so far I'm loving it just as much as the first. I'm also starting to get a thing for Mel. Maybe I should try and start a folk band of my own to see if she'll stalk us.
Also found this cool game online which got me hooked. Electric box
