first off.i am not drunk.hooray!! i've been getting into a bad habit of doing blogs when i'm drunk.so this one is sober.hooray!!

went out last night.was an interesting evening.went to a metal club in bristol.it's pretty shit and full of freaks,but i kinda like it now and then.i still find it funny going out.i like to watch people.everyone's out to 'pull'.people are strutting 'round and i find it really funny.i'm not really into that shit.i just sit down and do my own thing.it's kinda funny though.it's like watching a wildlife documentary.like peacocks all showing their feathers and shit.......hmmmm do peacock's show their shit? i always imagined them pooing in a lil private place.all posh like.anyway,i digress...

met up with my good friend jon.as he walked over to me i knew by the look on his face something was up straight away.him and his girlfriend had split up just outside as they were coming into the club.he was in a pretty bad way.it was difficult to have a conversation in a metal club.but i did my best to keep his mind occupied.he lost his job 6 weeks ago too, so he's having a tough time.

then i got chatted up....by a girl.was really weird.

then i saw my ex.which was.....weird.havn't seen her in a looong time.i don't think there's any hard feelings between us.i have no feelings good or bad for her really, but it was just weird seeing her.she seemed to be having fun though, so that was good.i'm glad she's happy again.

at the moment so many people i know are having a really tough time in their relationships.people breaking up left right and centre.or going through 'patches'.makes me wonder if it's all worth the hassle.not really sure if i believe in 'love'.i've never felt it myself.maybe i just havn't met the right person yet.but, at the moment it all seems like a scarey thing to open your heart to someone and then have it all fall to pieces.

i'm getting a lot of drawing done today.loving it.i've started using my brush pen again.excuse me while i get all geek-a-fied on your ass about a pen.but, i love my brush pen sooooo much.it's like a living thing.when you draw with it you have to kind of go where it wants to take you.you have to gently guide it but, you can't control it.it's like it has a heart of it's own and you have to understand what it wants you to do.when i draw with it it's like i'm stepping out into the unknown.i love my brush pen..........maybe i should get out more.(i don't stick it up my bum or nuffink)

one artist that uses a brush pen amazingly well is Doug Tennapel.he's the guy that did earthworm jim among other things.i love his graphic novel 'creature tech'.it's drawn sooo beautifully.it's a really nice story too.it's got a bit of everything in it.action,comedy,bit of a love story.i love his art so much.when i look at peoples drawing i can see things.i can understand a person by the way they draw.i've never been very good with words.writing them or reading.i think with drawing i can see people's hearts.that's why i love it.
