About my elbow... Well I had an infection in it. The scar tissue and elongated bursa hid and diverted the infection so it was hard to find and bigger than expected. I was told I would have my plate removed, be in a cast for a couple days, and would be on weight restriction for about a week because he would fill the screw holes with bone cement. What actually happened was the infection was bad enough that it damaged my tendon and got into my bone by way of my titanium plate screws. I ended up with staph in my bones. That meant a cast for a week, rehab for a couple weeks, and no heavy weights for a month. The worst is the PICC line they installed. Its a line that goes into my heart and I was awake the whole time they put it in. Worst experience of my life. I have to take infusions every 3 hours. In all of this I think I lost my job because I didnt qualify for medical leave yet.
Luckily my girlfriend takes care of me. She is premed and was in the hospital a lot when she was younger so all of this is very familiar to her. We've been hanging out with my friend Lydia lately. The first time we went camping and that has been the closest to a threesome I think I have ever been. Then we all went to the strip club and Alex, my gf, got a lap dance and finally admitted she was bi.
Today we went shooting with my friend Dane now that I have finally been approved to lift 10lbs. Last night we went out with my friend Cat to see Godzilla. I told her we should hang with her friends but she is only 19 and I think she is at that point in her life where she is realizing she was only friends with most of her friends because they were convenient or because it was habit. One of them called her a slut today even though she hasn't slept with very many people. This friend has slept with more people than I have. I still feel bad though. Its kind of evolved. We get along really well. Between her crazy ex and mine (yeah, she made an appearance AGAIN. Contacted me after MONTHS to try and be best friends again) we had our guards down.
