I asked a friend of mine to teach me to dance. I go through these periods where I do things that are super out of my comfort zone. Last year I bought a motorcycle before I knew how to ride one (since then it became my primary method of transportation when its not cold) and took off for NYC for a week and stayed in a hostel. Anyway, I guess to learn to dance I am taking a crash course in pole dancing. I am learning from my friend who had a crush on me. I think she is seeing someone now and I haven't seen her since the lingerie fashion show. I can't dance at all and I am super introverted so this is a big deal. I think a girl who can properly dance is super attractive. I also think its unfair for me to desire something in someone I cannot produce. Anyway, I am now sore and tired and bruised up. I definitely cannot dance or pole dance in front of anyone yet but it was fun. It was also just us and her friend who is working on a burlesque routine with her. They're supportive so that helped a lot too. I am really hard on myself over menial things so them acting nice to me was good to fall back on.
