I'm still in Toronto. After 4 days of (wait for it....) RELAXING(!) I'm heading home.

My aunt, who was also displaced from Halifax, works in the financial district so I'm going to meet up with her for lunch. Then I think I'll peruse H&M since we don't have one in Ottawa.

The SG gala, which is what brought me here, was quite disappointing. I don't want to purposely offend anyone specific, since there were a lot of really nice people, but I just can't get over how desperate for attention some of these girls are.

And to be completely honest... some of the guys there seemed very predatorial. I got bad vibes almost all night.

Oh.. and... I hate tequilla.

Despite the gala being a disappointment I have had a great time wandering, people watching, reading and relaxing. It was a weekend I sorely needed. I've got some big projects underway right now in Ottawa. THINK SUPER BIG!

Rockalily is owning right now and we're booked through to my "I quit" date in November. If you haven't seen us yet you should soon! More details on that coming soon. I'll update again once I get home.
