Just found out my grandmother (father's side) was in a devastating car accident. My mom called me and woke me up only to inform me that someone had run a stop sign and hit her, causing her car to flip over before landing in a ditch upside down. Apparently they had to cut her out of the car. No one knows her current condition but I've been sitting her since I've been awake just hoping that she's okay. She's been through so much in the last couple of years, including quadruple heart bi-pass surgery. She's the most kind, gentle human being I've probably ever known and doesn't deserve any of this.

It's also helped me realize just how fragile life really is. There is no time for regret and you must always live in the moment.
