I was supposed to return home today but my flight was delayed, thus postponing my return to sunny southern California. I've had a great time over here on the east coast. The weather has been frighteningly cold, but I've enjoyed it none the less. Being able to see all of my family for the holidays was really the best gift I could have received this year. On top of that I got some pretty cool material possessions as well! (Pics soon to come.)
Since I've been here in Asheville, NC I've really been considering moving down here and maybe attending one of the local universities. They have great schools down here and the people are unlike any I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Plus I would really be able to focus on my education without having to worry about paying all the bills I have in California. Lots to think about I suppose. I think I just want to experience something new and different for a change. I feel like it would really do me some good right now. I sure would miss the beautiful California weather though.
My New Year's resolutions are to take charge of my life, try new things I've never tried before and quit letting people walk all over me. I'm stronger than I've ever been and it feels great. I can't wait to see what the new year holds for me.

I totally hear yeah. California is so so expensive.! Sometimes I think about moving back to the midwest where most of my family is, but for me I just love it here so much! I've never been to the east coast but I've heard amazing things about it. Sounds like it'd be a good place to start a new chapter.
