I really am an idiot...
I started this car thing with the goal of getting rid of my truck, and replacing it with a more sensible vehicle without sinking lot's of money into it.
I was thinking a late model used car with low mileage. Something reliable, like a civic or corolla or something.
At this point my rudimentary plan is to keep the truck, sell off some stock, and buy a classic VW convertible.
So let's look at this, my primary goals starting out were.
1) sensible car
2) not cost much money
3) get rid of truck
What I'm (maybe) about to do satisfies absolutely none of those goals. It'll be fantastically unreliable, will be an absolute money-sink, and I'll be pretty much forced to keep the truck on top of all that.
I think I must be insane.
