Hope everyone American enjoyed their Independence Day and everyone non-American enjoyed the beginning of July while half of America was too drunk to do much of anything. I enjoyed the time off with the family as well as a few too many s'mores and frozen alcoholic concoctions. So not much writing done this weekend.

Going to brave all the negative reviews and go see Lone Ranger either today or tomorrow. Hopefully it proves good if not great. It seems unlikely that it will be much of a success in the United States, but I have been a fan of the character since I was a wee lad, so fingers crossed.

I am forty-eight hours away from my annual checkup at the doctor and I am already dreading it. At some point in life I developed an unnatural dislike for medicine, clinics and hospitals. Hopefully, I will avoid most if not all the bad news that might come with the appointment. Fingers crossed that I get a relatively good review.

Metahuman Press (my small press company) is having a July 4th sale on one of its Kindle books, the aptly titled Presidential Pulp. If you ever wanted to see past American presidents treated like action heroes, check this one out. It is a lot of fun.
