First post ...I've always wondered what it would be like working at a graveyard, considering that i live right next to one. I'm always hearing machine like noises coming from the crematory at night...which leads me to believe that someones being creamated..lol.
Anyways, while i was waiting at the bus stop today, i ran into a man that works up there. I was stoned, so everything he said was pretty interesting.
He went into details about his job, everything from recycling buckets of metal plates and screws from peoples bodies after being cremated, to moving and digging out graves for court orders and lab testing.
I asked him if got emotional during the services, he said usually not except for the burials of young kids...he went on about the way Arabic's did their memorial services and how the family carries the body themselves and buries them without a coffin, and also how they will hire mourners to come and grovel all over the place....
For a second there i was considering checking out the whole funeral director business, it would be a very interesting job.
But like i said i was stoned...
on the subject, i hate being high in public. I don't know why, but i just get really uncomfortable around people.Right now it's nice, alone in my apartment with classical music going, and a nice cup of jo...oh good times..

I am so fucking sleepy that I'm completely awake, I just sneezed all over myself and my eyeliner has chosen to exist on every part of my face except my eyes.
I think I'm done here.

I worked for a marble company back when I lived in Hawaii. The guy that owned it owed my dad a favor and my dad told me I would be doing the artistic side of the marble works....Hell no. I was put on graveyard shift and went out with the ex-cons putting up Chinese urn houses. It was an interesting summer and It was great to see the look in the eyes of the Cali tourist girls when I answered what I did for a living. It was the summer after highschool before I ran off to the main land for school.
I've never been high, but a brewer friend of mine shared a few pints of his weed beer with me. It was pretty fucking good. I love my crazy friends.
I live in beaverton now and I love Oregon.

For your first blog you are very expressive. Sorry about your eyeliner
incident. Kind of glad I wasn't there to see that. I'd be a gentlemen and
get you a kleenex cause that's the kind of guy I am, but I would turn
my head away from you as I hand it to you (ha ha).
