I'm bored so I wrote a dissertation on wrestling....

I've got a couple of things to talk about before I get to my Royal Rumble preview.

First up is TNA. Johnny Fairplay may actually be a decent addition, although he needs to work on his chairshots. Those were weak. I'm less thrilled about the rumors revolving around Nash and Hall returning as the Outsiders. Nash...

His Rumble prediction came true. Benoit wins. Hats off to ya, mi amigo.
scattershot:
I'll pick up my foot and put it in my mouth now... hell I'd rather do that than have Goldberg main event wrestlemania. Although Lesnar vs. Goldberg will be on the mania card won't it. Get our yer crystal ball and see. The way it seems to me is that Benoit and Goldberg will switch up between Raw and Smackdown and Im hoping beyond hope that an iron man match between Benoit and HHH headlines 'mania. Even Benoit vs Lesnar Iron Man Match would be radness. Goldberg can sit on the sidelines.

After a couple weeks of blah, I'm quite impressed with some of the sets SG has put up in the last couple of weeks. Audio, Brandy, Blyss, Edea, andTegan have all had some great sets. Keep up the good work.

Well, tonight I finish moving the last of my things from Springfield to Cedar Rapids. I'm going to miss that...

Life is a strange and beautiful thing.

Anyway, chapter 3 of Champion City is up and running here. Check it out, and while you're there, check out my pulp sites and journal as well. End this week's plug.

So what's up with everyone?

It seems like it's been kind a quiet around here lately. Does the burlesque show have everyone in awe or something?

Chapter 3 is cool man, keep it up.

As for what's up? Little birdies, hard dicks, and airplanes. I'm a boring, boring man.

I'll have to check out your website, but I am sleepy right now.

Wow, I really need to remember to update this. I haven't been around here much lately, other than to check out the new naked lady of the day quick.

I've been spending tons of time working on my website, where I added a journal that's probably a little more friendly to the so-called "normal" people. Not that I'm overly concerned about what people think, but...

Been working on the ole website again. Chapter 2 of Champion City is up and running. I also have started a web magazine called Pulp Stories Monthly, that will feature even more writing. I'm even accepting submissions if anyone is interested in writing a pulpy story. Anyway, you can find them at my same old great website, WeiEmpire.com.

It's really cold in Cedar...

Well, I actually got on my computer to write the next chapter of my Champion City storyline and write my first pulp storyline for my website, WeiEmpire.com. (End shameless plug.)

Instead, I played the wrestling simulatorExtreme Warfare Revenge for a couple of hours, before lazing about the net while reading old issues of DC Comics Darkstars. It gave me some time to...

Sounds like everyone had a good New Years. Mine was kinda quiet, but a fun time with my wife and daughter.

This weekend I get to go job hunting. Thankfully, Cedar Rapids has a decent set of job openings, so hopefully I can find something decent paying.

I'm slowly updating WeiEmpire.com. Any suggestions on improvements would be appreciated.

storey:
Good luck with the job thing. Im in the market for a new job myself but Denver doesnt have the greatest availability right now.
Ill be visting your site to read the updates but I dont really have any suggestions for improvment. Sorry.
Oh well.
ed:
This quiet you speak of is probably the quiet that precedes the chaos of the year. Luck with the jobs. smile

Happy New Years everyone!

Hope everyone enjoys this evening and any hangovers to follow.

Oh, as a special little treat for anyone who cares, the first chapter of my novel Champion City is now available at my website WeiEmpire.com. Check it out if you care. I'll be serializing it week by week there.

happy new years to you too!!! yay!

I had a long tiring weekend of box moving. I swear; the only thing worse than packing is moving the damn boxes.

Wouldn't you know it; while I was gone .Alisa's set FINALLY went up. Life is good.

Anyway, I'm back for the week, keepin it real
joshof13thfloor:
I vote that the unpacking process sucks more than either of the two choices that you listed above. If i weren't married i'd probably never unpack and just live out of the damn boxes.

Not that there's anything good about moving, i fucking hate moving, man.

Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and such.

I'm disappearing for a few days again to go and load up the rest of my junk and stuff in Springfield. I should be back on Sunday night with far too much stuff to room for. Should be fun.
storey:
Sound like fun.
I too had pretty good christmas. Saw all the people that I wanted to and none of the ones I didnt.
Hope the move went well and this new home finds you settling in nicley.
Im sorta getting sick of my screen name so if a new friend shows up where I used to be dont panic cuz the names and faces have just been changed to help protect the innocent. smile

I'm looking forward to an odd Xmas as most of our furniture is still in Springfield. Shouldn't really matter though, as I'm going to my mom's and my sister's for the morning and evening of the holiday.

I'm slowly updating WeiEmpire.com, my fancy new web site. It's basic form is slowly taking shape; now I just need to get some damn content. Let me...

Life is someone back on track now that I'm officially a citizen of Cedar Rapids, IA. I'm doing the jobless thing to the first of the year, so I'm thinking I should get some writing time in while my lovely daughter takes her nap.

Hopefully, everyone will have as good an Xmas season as I'm hoping to have.

WTF?! I go away for a few weeks and you MOVE? wink

You sound at peace. I hope you are. It's always nice to find a point to wind down at the end of the year. Say, around the holidays (barring last-minute shopping and big family dinners...aye).

Anyway, nope, I am not an SG, nor an SG Limbo girl. Perhaps in a few months, though, but I need the photographer, the energy, and the resources. The name is staying, regardless. smile

Hear, hear. I thought a lot about my tattoos before deciding I'd commit. What it boils down to is the meaning (well, I'm only really interested in words, because they're less forgiving and more definite...images are wonderful at symbolizing many things, so I'd feel pretentious using them); I see it as a permanent scar, a figurative burning the hand on the stove when I was ignorant, a reminder. I'm comfortable with the idea that it may become very ugly and blurry in the future. But who knows if I'll be laughing at my audacity to think like this when I'm 75. (Or lamenting. wink )

Er. Spammy-spam aside, Ed is the name of the computer hacking girly-girl on the cartoon/anime series "Cowboy Bebop," and apparently I resemble her muchly in attitude and...I don't know what else. Well, when I'm happy and flighty. Plus it's short and cute. wink
