I am older by numerics today...so, i shall title this piece

Postmordem Afterbirth

Words used to pour out of my eyes
Like a bloody fever
Drum beat African
Fertile

Dire tireless
Romantic
In the glances
Of seduction

Rotten
On the floor
Writhing
Like a placenta

Or stripper
With a shotgun
Holy
Twat

But that was eons
Distant
From here
Dying now

Luster pulsing
Puss
Loveless...

But it seems like one of those "The further one travels, the less one knows"
sorta things...

Ah, well...

(Birthday piece? It's not so bad...what Fatality said, I agree)

I can't seem to get high, or fall too low...words don't want to dance, and neither do the daffodils...nothing grows, nothing changes...but, if Jimmy sees the light, so do I...

Jimmy Cliff, Sitting in Limbo

Sitting here in Limbo
Waiting for the tide turn.
Yeah, now, sitting here in Limbo,
So many things I've got to learn.
Meanwhile, they're putting up a resistance,
But I...

I think it may be time for me to complete my mission on this here Earth, I think it may be time to create a new world, one in which the devices of society hold no weight...ah, just think of it now...ridiculousness running rampant, true freedom, chaotic furthering glee...art welcome, humorous insanity laughing into the passing hours...a complete lapse of functionality, almost as if the...

Ladies and Gents, I have to get out of this place, it is eating me alive, swallowing me whole, engulfing my every utterance. I have two choices, run screaming, or torch myself...
I am bored beyond any belief, words suck, the same people situations suck, I am in the world's biggest rut, or the worldest most stubborn hole...either way....I am dying here

1. I am a treasure trove of virtually useless information, a veritable plethora of trivial junk...and I kind of like it

2. I talk alot, I never knew I talked alot until a few years back...I always thought I was vocal, expressive...I knew that I talked fast...but I have realized, I talk alot...alot

3. I have been called intense, or passionate, a few million times...

1. I only know what I know...and don't know it 'till I do...

2. Me: long, long, long, deep, nerve wracking (for me and everyone else) silences punctuated by sharp, rhythmic, funny, sarcastic, poetic, philosophical and often bizzare and ironic rants.

I've done (non denominational) spiritual counciling, as well, and continue to do so.

3. I resemble that remark.

4. Were we seperated at birth?

5. buzzzzzzzzzzz

6. I love weed. A lot.

7. I'm a sober alchoholic. Almost killed me. Prodigous appetite for da booze...

8. I'm an artist and writer. I'm widely and enthusiastically supported by friends and family. A blessing.

9. Wow...

10. Peace to ya, man.

11. Same here. It's been a major part of my foundation since about age 20.

12. Amen.

13. I see the talent. My credentials improve, I'll see what I can do about getting you some recognition. I think Ezra pound is dead.

14. Nah. Old wives tale. Trust me...

19. The man's a genius.

The big bad C. It took my grandfather and my friends dad this year. And my dad spent all year fighting it in chemo.

I don't think you have to have depression to be inspired. Maybe more the opposite.

I'm thinking you got plenty of time to do something good still. Keep your eye on the star.
In my own case I've realized there's two things: getting by and doing what you want. Hopefully they meet together as much as possible, but it's not entirely necessary, in fact totally rare.
Maybe find a line of work that's indirectly supportive of writing to support what you really want to do....

Thanks for passing it on. Good one!

My old self feels like content...inertia like a cadillac streaming elvis, sipping Jack Daniels on the man's clock...damn, rebellion isn't for every forever sun, just the good set rolling melancholy cigarette chafe, roped, hustled, doped.

btw...I have decided that whatever I am writing must be one of two things....a true voice being honed, with some unalienable talents....or, a worthless jumble of self-indulgent, quasi-intellectual jargon, manifactured...

I'm just curious - what inspires you to write? Your poems seem like little word puzzles or a brainflow of thoughts. How exactly do you go about writing them?

Who are your favorite poets? Who influences you and your style?

Dedicated to my grandfather

Get lost

Fuckers
And call on my man

Natural born
Better

Heroes

Like Douglas McArthur
And a man
Who bleeds
On my pumpkin

Every Halloween
Or spring
On the ides
Bet of war

To my other grandfather

With a chicken
Was a jaw

I have this idea where all this lines are played in a loop with distortion applied coming from a set of speakers on a persons clothing walking through a crowd.
This is the kind of stuff I'd like to hear on it.

Oh and that was in a meeting so I couldn't just walk out but I considered saying I had to leave. I just acted like a suppressed brat and rolled my eyes and fidgeted.

I love you sweetheart...I lost my baby girl today...From the first eye-dropper suckling, until now, stiff as death...about 13 years...I am going to miss her so much....so goddamn much.

My first book is going to be dedicated to her.
The only one who has been with me through every loneliness, every time I conjure words, she whispered to me, the nectar...singing like a lark.

i think spelling is silly, like umbrellas, wars on isms, more then one fork on a table and manners with no attention to ethics. if you could teach me, you might be complete, but i'd be disheveled and rediculous.

I've been sober myself and trying to find my footing in the world of thought out metaphore instead of accidental dopamine induced insight.

Big, grandiose like the glimmer in my eye, that is how I would describe the violent way she shakes an earth with a rattle and hum worshipping gospel perversion, the bottoms of her feet punishing the mattress for dog day splayed menstrual breathe. To describe her, as prismatic idiocy would be clairvoyant, to mention her as deranged would be sufficient, but of carnal pleurisyor admonished...
