So I just realised I haven't posted in ages!
My post topic today is Dreams
Have you ever had a dream that was so amazing and felt so real that when you woke up you actually felt disappointed that it was just a dream? I did today.
Last night in my dreams fell in love with a girl who is a complete figment of my imagination, she was funny and exciting, adventurous and intelligent and the best smile that I could have possibly dreamt up. Everything that happened just felt so real from our first meeting, to the development of our friendship to the event where we realised we both had feelings for each other that we weren't ready to admit to, to the agonizing despair I felt about not being able to touch her and kiss her, strange huh?
I've also had another dream a few days ago in which I met who I hope will be my son one day, this little boy with the cutest face and most inquisitive personality with olive skin, a brown curly afro and big brown eyes, took my hand and walked with me through a park pointing out every insect and plant and spelling the names of them out to me before following his spelling up with questions about them.
Sometimes I wish we could write our own lives exactly the way we want them to avoid rejection, hurt, anger, disappointment and struggles but then I realise it's the horrible parts of life that make us feel even better when our dreams come true because we appreciate them even more.
