Solaris is a good movie, but NOT as good as Ben Wallace's new goggles.

prof. students *do* end up paying more, that's true. though most of them - lawyers, doctors, pharmacists - end up doing *quite* well. so it's really more like an investment in that sense...

The End
I think I have finished my book....

I might have an Epilogue in Edinburgh but not sure...

I have to fill some things in too...

Here are the last few paragraphs ...

Mathilda and Timothy decided to hold each other for a few minutes, shower together, and then walk around Oxford.

They kissed and then went out to the Oxford morning. There was...

I'm a Winner!!! 50,300 words
With a 1,000 words today I am well past 50,000 words. I will even cross it on the Microsoft Word, Word count in 300 words ...

Of course I have been cheating with Author's notes but that doesn't add up to too much.

Congrats on the writing. I'm envious when I should be inspired! As for brews, I am a big fan of the DFH brewery. They can do little wrong. Also quite fond of Stone and Great Divide out of Colorado. Current faves: Old Yeti Imperial Stout from Great Divide and Olde School Barleywine (15%!) from DFH. It is a very sweet barleywine and the alcohol is very subtle. Imbibe with due caution.

Had a tough start today ...

My right front tire was flat again .. I just fixed in 8 days ago. ... and it was so flat, that is was a poor idea to drive it the few hundred yards to the gas station to get air.

Not the news you want to hear when you are not feeling well.

But I did get another...

No words yesterday!
After my writing dynamo this month, I did no words yesterday!

Zero.

If you wonder why, its because I had a full day in retail.

I was there from 9:15 to 6:15 with a one-hour lunch.

It was the "best sale of the year," meaning lots of customers. I also desperately need to get new dress shoes, so my feet got really...

I think what would be really cool is if the entries got less coherent as they went down the page. Less coherent and less picky.

Beer Name: Dunno, can't make out the tap, everything in the bar is moving.

Colour: Brown.

First taste: Like the others, I think my tongue is numb now.

Drinking character: It was nice. I don't know if it got me any drunker because I kinda think i've plateaued.

Overall: All I can say for certain is that if you've already had 10 beers this one's not going to do anything the last 6 or 7 haven't.
