I've seriously had the most disheartening day ever! On Tuesday James and I went to a local car dealership so he could look at a BMW that he liked. He test drove it and told the guy he wanted it, so we put $2,000 in cash down and filled out all of the paperwork; we were set to take it home today after they figured out why the check engine light was on. I left school 3 hours early so we could get there at 1 and when I walked into our apartment, James was on the phone and looked pissed. The guy told him TODAY, 10 MINUTES before we were supposed to go get the car that we needed a co-signer. Of course, we know NO ONE except family who can't do it, so James calls the guy and tells him that we don't have a co-signer and that we need our $2,000 back to go elsewhere; the guy says it'll be a few days before we get our refund check in the mail. WHAAAAAT. I was FURIOUS...and of course James was. Needless to say, we won't be getting that chunk of change back real quick.
So now, I'm gonna get a scooter. A Honda Metropolitan to be exact. Holler! That would cost the same as the down payment for a car and we won't have to make payments. Anyone have any scooter advice?
