can is the tired war,
science fell around the door
insurgent recluse that you are
look beneath the ground
watch the stars scatter around
and alone to tell the walls before
knowing curbing damning that
silent grove of prudence
the twisted vines of pestilence
clear and scented air
tear the glass fear the last laugh
and never fought the war
anymore

forgot begot the rotten tree bark
the spark that fell beneath
the cellar door and romantic thoughts
and gentle men casting lots
when april's hair is cut
beware be there be square
the sentinel of science resurgence
march left and right and
cast the light upon the solid air
and shut the mouth of insolence
the second sense

living solidarity the solitary city
your new old town crashing down
to the soft ground without a sound
and no clever clovers to wear
no trains to take you there
split idealism, rampant creationism
abortion, contortion, out of proportion
leaves and seeds
and a memory of final deeds
succeeds

I've done most of my stuff too. I have a dozen holes in my left ear, the first two were done by a jewlery store. The rest by me whenever I got boored. The first hole I did I stretched with plastic coated paper clips and weights to about a bic pen width. I pierced my cartilage but it got infected and it was the last time I tried that. I pierced the webbing btwn my pinky and index finger (still haven't seen anybody else do that!).

The scars were done with a double edged razor blade, ergo the linear quality, a scapel would work better I am sure. Then I rubbed (vigerously) india ink (tattoo ink is prob. less toxic) into the wound and left it there. I covered the wounds with gauze and tape and let them sit until the surface skimmed over. (about 24-48 hours). You wan't to be sure that you don't cut so deep the blood will wash out the ink and not so shallow the ink will not take. Basically you wan't to encapsulate the ink in the scar. This was all a long time ago. Wish I lived a little closer so I could help you in person. I've got to run, ask as many questions as you wan't, post some questions on the scarification group, some other people may have other advice. Not all of my pieces came out well, mostly due to poor ink taking.
