okay. this is a page ripped from a children's fashion magazine. it's been on my wall for years, and it's one of my favorite pictures ever. I'm sharing it with whoever sees this because it best expresses my New Years wish for the world. ^_^

This may work out really well. I photographed "rabid consumerism" with my Oly point and shoot, then printed it on some cotton paper (a "watercolor" type) with the Epson 2200, and it looks great. So when I get my camera back (hopefully just a few days) I expect good results. Stay tuned!

I like the way that the creases in the paper in the "happy" poster show up in the photograph. I have a photo of a mural on the side of a shipping container that has the same kind of "what am I looking at exactly?" effect. It's flat but then again it's three-dimensional.
